How to Report a Company & Protect Yourself
If you have experienced issues with a contractor, vendor, or service provider, you can submit a report. New consumer-reported companies and complaint summaries are added based on these submissions.
Before You Hire or Make a Large Purchase
Verify licenses with the appropriate state or local licensing board
Check complaint history with your State Attorney General, BBB, and other agencies
Get all promises and change orders in writing
Document all payments and keep copies of invoices and receipts
Informed consumers are better protected. Use this lookup as a starting point, and always do your own research before hiring or making large purchases.
